Since Jason Bagley launched Incredible Connection’s blog it was received with much mixed responses. Personally, I’ve bought a couple of things from them in the past and never had any issues with them. Then again, I never had any technical issues and never had to go back to them. I can understand negativity if you had a bad experience.
Not to be bashing anything, I can however say that probably the biggest mistake you’ll make is to buy a PC with Windows on it. That is not their fault! If you do and complain about it, you’re blaming your mistakes on someone else. It’s that simple. Don’t even start with “but games/software/whatever don’t run on…” just don’t. It makes you look ignorant and silly. Really, there is simply no excuse.
For a extremely positive experience, you can go and take Incredible Connection up on this brilliant offer: Bring in any old computer and get insane discounts on Macbook and iMac products.
See, now I can already see blokes saying: “Nah, but the discounts was worked into the prices” Bollocks. Go and compare the original prices to ZA Store (official Apple ZA site).
It is a pretty solid deal. Take it and stop whining. It is the cheapest brand new Apple Macs you’ll find ANYWHERE in South Africa!

Big up Stii for the post. :-)
I’m still trying to find out if there are discounts on the Macbook Pro’s too. Will keep everyone posted.

So tempting… The new Macbook has my name on it. Unfortunately the lack of Firewire poses a problem.

Stii, and for those interested, it is only the iMacs and Macbooks that are on special.

Wow, that sounds very cool!
I agree regarding the excuses about the games, although that said, gamers do buy specific platforms (such as Playstation) mainly for the games they play. So if that is Windows then that is Windows.
But for general use, anything based on *nix is teh_stuff. And of course, there is always teh_dual_boot (although I don’t know if that works for Mac, but it works for a Linux/Windows combination).
