I like Reddit. I also have great admiration for William Kamkwamba from Malawi who built an energy generating windmill from scrap metal at the age of 14. A true “YES, we can!” kind of guy if there ever were one. Now Reddit went all the way to Malawi to interview William. He is a true inspiration to everybody.

With ESKOM announcing an tariff increase of 45% per annum from 2010 to 2012, maybe it is time we start taking alternative energy sources a little more serious?
