Need encouragement? Check your SPAM box

Comment spammers sure are creative as I’ve mentioned before. These days, they’re very much into compliments and encouragement. In fact, whenever I feel a bit demotivated, I just need to visit my spam box to stroke my ego.
Check these:
Right, dude, do you actually READ my stuff?
I’d rather you don’t. Seriously. Don’t.
Sure! I just love spammers to dictate me on what to write more of so they have more to spam on.
I bet you do love my site. You’re me after all! Huh? No, wait. :P
How does your spam box look? Encouraging? You betcha!
I receive a lot of these. Akismet does a good job arresting them and the link in their comments makes it even more obvious that they are spamming. These ones seem to be done my humans, as opposed to spambots.
Ehehe, my favourites are the ones where they give me lots of praise, such as:
“Are you a professional journalist? You write very well.”
The the commentator is someone names TVV&#G)D763hgf. Go figure!
